Why I'm Running
North Vancouver deserves a council that listens.
I grew up watching this city grow and change — and I've been part of shaping it. I'm running because I believe local government should be close to the people it serves. Decisions about our neighbourhoods, our community spaces, and our future shouldn't feel distant or disconnected.
North Vancouver has real strengths and real pressures. I want to bring practical, grounded leadership to city hall — someone who has done the work, knows the community, and will show up every time.

Meet Liam
A North Van voice through and through.
Liam Olsen is a North Vancouver local with deep roots in this community and a professional background in public policy and civic organizing. He served as National Youth Director for the Liberal Party of Canada under Prime Minister Mark Carney — bringing national-level leadership experience back home to North Van.
Liam brings a grounded, practical approach to leadership: listen first, work across differences, and stay focused on outcomes that matter to residents. He's running for City Council because he believes North Vancouver is best served by someone who lives and breathes this place.
